Immediate Need For Funeral Expenses & Holiday Gifts for His Young Children ages 12, 11, and 5. 

Jeff was a dedicated longtime employee with the MTA, a good husband to Lupe, a good brother, an important member of his extended family, and a bit of a goofball, of course...but Jeff's most important role and the one that will define his legacy moving forward is as Dad to his children. Jeff became a father at a very young age. Admittedly, probably too young. But, his immediate bond with his now-adult daughter Tarra was instant and he adored her since the moment she came into his life to define his "dad-ness". 

Jeff went on to meet his wife Lupe, fall in love and jumped in to help to raise her son Alan. They were a family from the start and couldn't wait to grow together by having three more children of their own: Sophie, Cameron, and Ian.  A close knit group that loves to visit big sis Tarra frequently, but Ian, in particular, always asks to go back home to their dad by the end of the play dates. 

Jeff unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, December 1st after a heartbreaking medical emergency and his young family is at a loss as to how to cope during this difficult time. To lose their dad, their husband, their protector and provider during the holidays, with Sophie and Cameron's birthdays at the same time, and during this global pandemic crisis is too much for us to ask this family to bear alone. 

We know that this is a difficult time for all of us right now, but we ask that you honor Jeff's memory and his "dad-ness" legacy by donating any amount to help with the unexpected funeral costs, to ensure that Alan, Sophie, Cameron, and Ian have something from Santa under the tree for Christmas in just a few weeks, and to ease some of the unnecessary financial stress during the most painful days of this family's lives.
