J. De Luca was intentionally run over & needs help

The incident happened on July 9th around 7 pm, in the Oxford and McCraney neighbourhood of North Oakville. A White Volkswagen GTI came flying down the road and Jeff went out to the road to try to stop these guys from speeding.

Jeff told them to get out of this area, as there are children, and they needed to leave this area and not come back here again. The driver then revved his engine and came towards him at full speed causing Jeff to hit the windshield, the roof of the car, and then fly up in the air and landing on the pavement behind him.

Jeff's partners' daughter was celebrating her 17th Birthday that day and has been traumatized by the event.

Jeff immediately went to Oakville Trafalgar hospital.

Expectations of recovery at this point are unknown, he will have to go to a Physio at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital and will be there for quite some time he needs to learn how to walk again.

The damages that he incurred to his body, include broken ribs, broken vertebrae, a broken pelvis, damaged lungs and heart, a broken left arm, and a possibly broken kneecap.

Jeff De Luca has broken down a lot in the hospital with his doctors and nurses. He is a builder. He builds custom homes and now fears for what’s going to happen to him in the future. His partner is at the hospital every day trying to support Jeff, and making sure that he has everything that he needs he was able to come out.

We're trying to raise money for Jeff and Leah to make ends meet during this exhausting time where neither of them is able to work right now.

Nicolai Tindiris, 20, has been charged with Dangerous Operation Causing Bodily Harm, Aggravated Assault, Assault with a weapon abd Failure to Remain scene of accident.
