For almost two years, our dear friend, the legendary bassist Jeff Chambers, has been quietly battling cancer. In hopes of avoiding the ravages of chemotherapy, Jeff has begun intensive alternative treatment.
Unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by insurance — and it’s not cheap.
Jeff cannot fight this battle on his own. As his symptoms have progressed, we’re calling on you to help. The time has come to break the silence. Please spread word of his illness, and help us support his recovery and ensure his loved ones can be with him when he needs them most. While love is the best medicine, your donations are crucial, and will enable Jeff to focus his energy on healing rather than worrying about the crippling costs of treatment and recovery. Contributions will also help cover his family's travel expenses and Jeff's costs of living while in intensive care.
