Jeff Becklund's Wellness Fund

Jeff was admitted to the hospital a year ago with autoimmune hemolytic anemia and suffered from 50% blood loss and was very sick.  He had 2 blood transfusions and spent 7 months on high doses of steroids.   Thankfully, his anemia is in remission.  In November he was stricken with a horrible case of shingles which has caused debilitating nerve damage throughout his right side and around his back. The doctors have flown him to Ohau for 2 nerve blocks, acupuncture, and countless medications and unfortunately, nothing has worked.

He has no disability insurance at this time or income.  His current insurance costs are $1,400 a month.  This is very hard for Jeff and his family.  Jeff worked as a boat captain in Maui for 37 years, and the last 14 years with Trilogy excursions.  

Jeff has a great love of the sea and is missed by many.   Thanks for thinking of Jeff and his family at this time.
