Eric Matos Memorial Fund

As many of you may know, Eric Matos passed away on December 20, 2014, just before Christmas. He was working out of state, as a contract worker in Gettysburg, PA, on March 26, 2014 when he and his coworkers were assaulted.
Eric was found lying on the ground in a dark alleyway, by a good Samaritan who called #911. Up until this day, his family still does not know the facts surrounding the incident that caused the assault to take place. They do know that Eric suffered the most injuries. He had 2 fractured ribs, an orbital fracture, a collapsed lung and a Traumatic Brain Injury. The other two coworkers walked away from the incident with minor injuries.
Eric spent his last nine months in the hospital fighting for his life, trying to overcome the injuries he sustained on that day. Unfortunately, on December 20, 2014, he succumbed to his injuries. Not only is his family grieving the loss of their loved one, they are also sadly left with many unanswered questions pertaining to what happened on that day in Gettysburg, PA, that eventually lead to the loss of their loved one.
Because Eric's death was sudden, even after the doctors were hopeful for a full recovery. His family is asking for donations to assist with the cost of the funeral expenses. No amount is too small, every dollar helps and would truly be a blessing.
