Abbey "Dooda" & JeDi

Tax deductible

I’m Abbey “DooDa” and I live in Port Melbourne, Victoria, Australia with my moms, Jen and Di “JeDi”. They are going to help me paddle and pedal 200 kms in 17 days to raise money for REACH and I’m asking for your support. “Howl” do you ask?  2 Ways: Donate and Share!  More on that at the bottom, but first let me tell you about Reach and how I learned about it:

REACH Siem Reap is a school and community centre on the outskirts of Siem Reap, Cambodia providing education and services to children and families living in dire poverty. When my good friend and REACH Chairman, John Ioannou, told us about the great work REACH Siem Reap is doing on the ground in Cambodia and showed us the difficulties that COVID has created in this already desperate situation, we felt that we had to help.

REACH’s immediate goal is to make sure that the families they support can survive the pandemic by building schools, providing food, emergency medical supplies, and continued education. Providing these necessities will give families hope so that they will resist the temptation of missing out on school to work, or worse, crossing the borders into neighbouring countries to find work, where they are at risk of exploitation and/or human trafficking. Sadly, few victims are able to return to Cambodia.

Poverty is prominent in Cambodia and it results in many sad stories for families, but REACH has shown us that with an education, there is hope.

So, after hearing all about this from John, I said to moms, “Hey—lets

‘Doo’ this!!”  We all feel privileged to be a part of in this important event and so very excited to share our progress with you!
