Well, it’s not easy to say this to everyone I still feel as if nobody should know. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer on October 2017 it hasn’t been easy everyday is a different doctor appointment & well everything being said is just hard. I am 33 years old with a 2 year old I have decided to have a bilateral mastectomy & reconstruction in order for my daughter not to see me suffer going through radiation & treatments. I will require 2 surgeries & I will be having my first surgery on January 26, 2018 which is 2 weeks away in San Antonio, Texas. I will have to stay for 4-5 days at a hotel then start going every week to San Antonio back & forth. After, 3 months of my first surgery I will be having my second surgery which will have the same procedure as the first. At the beginning of this journey going to San Antonio once or twice a month was not that hard on our pockets but now we are starting the tuff part which will be weekly for approximately 5 months . Plus hotel stayes after surgeries. I feel bad having to open a go fund me account but I know those that care for me will help out & not make me feel Ashamed.
