Jeana Padillo-Dupitas Hospital Bills & Medication

My aunt Jeana Padillo-Dupitas suffered a stroke yesterday. She is currently admitted at the Neuro-ICU of Medstar Georgetown University Hospital (Unit C63). Per her doctors, she will have to stay at the ICU for a few days until they have the final diagnosis and recommended treatments. Unfortunately, we found out that my aunt has not re-instated her health insurance. She was waiting for the enrollment period this December to re-enroll for the government health insurance. She is unable to go back to work and will have a series of tests and scans/MRI etc and will have to go through rehab for her to properly walk and talk again. We, her family will need assistance for her hospital bills, medication and rehab. 

"Momi Jean" as we all call her in the family, is a generous soul. She loves to travel and spend time with friends and family. She is a teacher for as long as I can remember. She taught in the Philippines for years, moved to the US and continued teaching. Her students are very fond of her and still keep in touch with her throughout the years. She asked me before why I did not become a teacher and she continued to explain that teaching is a noble profession because you touch people's lives. 

We appreciate your generosity but more than anything else, we will appreciate your prayers for her fast recovery and healing as well as prayers of strength for our family.
