Help Croatian Scholarship Fund students!

Please support CSF, donation of any amount will allow us to continue provide scholarships to Croatian University students living and attending universities in Croatia and Bosnia and Hercegovina. These are academically outstanding students who are in great financial need. One hundred percent of funds raised will go directly to scholarships.
Due to Covid-19, this year CSF had to cancel their two major fundraising events, its Gala Dinner hosted by Croatian American Cultural Center in Sacramento, CA and its Golf Tournament in the SF Bay Area. These two major fundraising events generated approximately $75,000 annually for CSF students.

CSF, www.croatianscholarship.org has been in existence for over 30 years and is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization. Our Board members all serve as volunteers, reside in California, USA and oversee the operation of the organization including student selection, student academic monitoring and distribution of scholarship funds. CSF maintains very low administrative overhead in order to maximize its funding to students. CSF’s finances are audited annually and a tax report is submitted to the IRS.
CSF has helped hundreds of Croatian students achieve a college education, many of whom would not have been able to attend college without this assistance. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this worthy cause which has done so much for so many students, again we appreciate your generosity.

CSF scholarship means to me less worries about paying the rent, buying books, traveling to college and returning home. Beside that financial side it means so much more: the thought that someone far away, on another continent, who’s never seen you, and maybe never will, who doesn’t know your personality grants you his money, takes care of your studies, wants you to become intellectual. My name is Dora Svitlanović and I'm 19 years old. I live with my family in a Croatian village called Ilača. I finished nursing high school in Vinkovci.
My brother Denis and I live with our parents Vlatko and Zdenka. My mother lost her job and since then can't find a new one. My father is retired. That's why I'm really thankful for your sponsorship because it will help me now that I'm 600km away from home. Thank you from my heart.

Scholarship Recipients:
CSF scholarships are $2,000 per year to students accepted into the program after a rigorous screening procedure. New scholarship recipients are accepted every year and the duration of scholarship is three years of undergraduate study plus two additional years if students continue with their masters degree. Currently we have 75 students in the program. We generally accept 20 students per year and your contribution will ensure that we can accept 20 new for the academic year 2020/2021
