Je suis Gardien.ne du Fleuve Saint-Laurent

Le 5 mai dernier, deux projets de loi ont été présentés, l'un auprès du Parlement fédéral et l'autre auprès l'Assemblée Nationale du Québec, afin de reconnaître des droits au Fleuve Saint-Laurent.

Votre soutien est important afin que l'on puisse continuer à pousser pour que ces projets de loi soient discutés et adoptés. La protection du Fleuve en tant qu'entité vivante est vitale pour le bien-être de toutes les espèces qui en dépendent ainsi que pour le respect des droits humains à l'eau et à un environnement sain. L'Observatoire travaille avec passion pour faire grandir le projet et s'assurer qu'une multitude de municipalités, Premières Nations, ONGs et membres du secteur académique fassent entendre la voix du Fleuve.

On May 5th, two bills were presented, one to the Federal Parliament and the other to the Quebec National Assembly, to recognize the rights of the St. Lawrence River.

Your support is important to our work, so that we can continue to push for these bills to be discussed and adopted. The protection of the River as a living entity is vital for the well-being of all species who depend upon it, and the respect of the human rights to water and healthy environment. The Observatory works with passion to expand the project and ensure that a multitude of actors, municipalities, First Nations, NGOs and academics help the voice of the River to be heard.
