Raising for Rachel

For those of you who know Rachel, you’ll know that words fall short in describing her beauty as a person in its entirety. In our years of friendship, we have come to admire her for her continuous optimism, drive, kind spirit, but most of all, her UNFAILING faith and trust in God.

It all started with Rachel noticing her heartbeat was faster than normal. She went in to get herself checked and bloodwork showed abnormal white blood cell count. She was then referred for a CT scan which showed two 4 cm masses on her neck and and 18cm mass in her chest. After weeks of scans, biopsies and multiple doctor visits, our beautiful friend Rachel got diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma on June 4th, 2019. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Despite the fact that her treatment takes a toll on her physically, she continues to stay in good spirits, go to work and fight this battle against cancer! She is currently halfway through (treatment 7 out of 12) but unfortunately the medical treatment expenses are adding up. We are hoping to raise enough funds to cover some of her medical expenses and help Rachel focus on her recovery. We would also like to raise awareness, as Rachel had absolutely no symptoms aside from tachycardia.
