Brazil Mission Trip

Greetings,
As many of you know, I am attending Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. As part of my study program, I have the opportunity to join an intensive ministry/traning missions team this coming summer in Brazil. From May 18 - June 3, our student team will travel and minister throughout an entire region of Brazil known as Bahia.
The vision of this trip is to take the supernatural power of the Gospel to a region of that country that is steeped in poverty, perversion, witchcraft, and the occult. We will be holding worship and revival conferences and meeting in churches, ministering to pastors and leaders, ministering in private and public schools, and doing drama and street evengelism. In the churches, our ministry team will have a strong emphasis on releasing the power of God through praise and worship, ministering the Word, and then seeing miraculous signs and wonders.
Simultaneously, while we minister to adults, part of our team will also be highly trained to minister these same principles to the children. There are thousands of children in this region of Brazil who are victimized by human trafficking and forced into a lifestyle of drug addiction and prostitution at a very early age. We will have the opportunity to minister to many hurting, wounded souls and offer them the hope of salvation in Jesus. We will also be working with a Chrstian orphanage where children who have been rescued from this lifestyle are being raised in a loving, Chrstian environment.
Our team has already started praying, planning, and preparing for this mission trip. As a team member, I will be responsible for raising funds for my trip participation, which will be 3,900. this includes food, lodging, and transportation. i believe that God will lead a number of people to support me in this speacial missions opportunity.
I would like to thank you for your continued prayers and friendship in my life, and I would like to ask you to prayerfully consider becoming involved in this outreach through your giving financially and praying for me and the rest of the team.
