On July 26th Jan went to the ER due to low blood counts. She was then moved to a room where she spent two weeks. Then then went to ICU for three weeks and put up a great battle for her life. She is now back to her own room for the past three weeks where she should start a form of treatment for Myelodysplastic syndrome for the next 5 to six months. With all she has been thru the past 7 weeks she has always maintained a positive and fighting attitude with a smile. Whatever is raised for her over her medical bills will be donated to St Jude's Children Hospital on behalf of her. She is not out of the battle yet but making progress each and every day.
