Hi my name is Kelly - secretary for Market Drayton Tigers. On 5th May the goalposts on our training pitch have been vandalised to the point of not being able to be fixed.

Greenfields is a members only sporting facility for the use of Tigers FC, Rugby & Tennis members however we have always turned a blind eye to children playing football down here in the holidays, evenings etc as felt it was nice for them to have a safe environment to play in. However coming down to find our goalposts purposefully vandalised is not ok. These were put out to give children better facilities to play & train with and have lasted less than 2 months!

we are looking to replace these goals because it’s unfair for the majority of the children that come down here and use them respectfully to miss out because of a selfish act of a minority.

sturdy goals are not cheap and so anything that can be donated will be appreciated and the club will then also be able to help fund these.
