You know him, you love him, and he really needs our help. Our friend JD Macy is in the midst of a serious medical battle, and needs any and all donations to help cover his growing medical bills.
The Situation:
On the evening of October 1, 2017, JD went to the ER after 3 days of pain in his kidneys. Knowing that he has hereditary kidney problems, he knew that this was serious. He was quickly admitted to the hospital at Kern Medical Center, and has been there since, with no known date of discharge. Upon admission, his kidneys were functioning at 4% and he will soon be added to the donor list. He is currently undergoing dialysis three times per week, with treatments to continue for a minimum of 1 year. At that time, he will be eligible for a new kidney. Until then, his bills are soaring and we don't want him to stress about covering everything.
How can you help?
We're asking for donations, of any amount, just to help him out. During this time, he will not be able to work, and with no timetable for his current hospital stay, the bills are mounting. Anything helps, and every penny will go towards the unexpected bills.
JD is a great father, friend, and all around good guy. Nobody likes to have fun and laugh more than JD, and he has been described as the "entertainment glue" of any group. His love of fitness, football, and his daughters is no secret, and he needs our help right now.
