JD Braxton memorial fund

As JD’s family we are doing all that we can to navigate through this sudden, tragic loss. Death is something no one can prepare for. Navigating through each stage of grief seems to be amplified when it is the unexpected loss of such a young, vibrant, promising life like JD’s. In the midst of it all comes the planning and funding of a service and proper burial. Our family is more than a group of relatives. Cousins aren’t just cousins we are friends and siblings more than anything else. There isn’t a person in our family that isn’t deeply affected by the loss of JD. We have lost many in our family since 2011, more than we would like to speak of. No one can prepare emotionally, mentality or financially for the losses we’ve experienced. Please help us through this anyway you can so we can begin the bereavement process without the fear and worry of not being able to give JD the going Home that he truly deserves.
 
JD was just beginning his life, just getting the opportunity to do all the things that many take for granted. Opening his first bank account, saving for his first vehicle, working his first job, planning for life after graduation. JD was supposed to order his cap and gown next week, our hearts hurt that he never got that opportunity.
 JD’s Nana has loved him and cared for him since he was two years old. She has lost two of her sons, one being JD’s Dad and she now has to know the grief of losing the grandson she raised. We hope that the kindness of others will help her through the loss of JD. Our family is a faithful, close knit family. We give God the glory in all. We know God will provide us with a way to honor JD.
