US Women's Touch Rugby World Cup

Donation protected
I'm honored and excited to have been asked to help represent the United States as the youngest member of the Women's Touch Rugby National Team. We will be going to Australia in May to compete in the 2015 Touch Rugby World Cup.
Like most World Cups, this one comes around every four years. Not only is this an honor, but it's also the first time the United States is sending an all women's team to the tournament.
As many of you may know, Touch Rugby is huge in Australia as well as in many parts of Asia. However, it is a growing sport in the U.S.
I started playing while living in Singapore. I played for Singapore American School's Varsity Touch Rugby team, as well as for the Mixed and Women's divisions of Centaurs A Grade Touch Rugby Club. At the end of that school year, I moved back to California where I was fortunate to find, and start playing with the L.A. Touch Rugby Team. Through them, I was given the opportunity to travel to Orlando, Florida to compete in the U.S. Nationals for San Francisco's mixed team.
I am currently attending Mira Costa High School as a senior and running for their Varsity Track and Field Team, while also finding time to train for the World Cup.
My family is doing what they can to help support me throughout the process, but it won't be enough to get me to Australia this May. Therefor, it would be greatly appreciated to also have the support from a larger community.

Thank you,

Ellie
