JCMC Calendar

Just Call Me Chef is an organization and sisterhood for Black womxn chefs. We started this organization and have gained so much notoriety because of our calendar. The calendar was an opportunity to highlight black women chefs, who all to often do not get the recognition they should in the food industry.  In previous years we had volunteer photographers, small donations,  and the money of our founder to get the calendars printed. This year we do not have those luxuries. The calendar is one of the biggest fundraisers for our organization. With the funds we are able to do programming, host events, and offer scholarships. We want to be able to continue this tradition.  There are some amazing chefs that have done some great things in this past year that we want to feature. We are breaking glass ceilings and shutting down stereotypes.
