The Fletcher Family needs a car!

Hello friends. Well I always swore I'd never do one of these yet here I am, together with my wife turning to those who are perhaps more fortunate than us in our time of need. The vehicle we have, a 2000 Buick Century has almost 200,000 miles on it and is rotting out from under us. It has been uninspected sence August because it is uninspectable. The transmission has a solanoid sensor issue that causes slipping, the muffler system is held on by metal strapping, the engine ticks and the rocker pannels....what rocker pannels? Everytime the door gets shut more of the car falls off. We have been saving what we can for money and I was hoping we would have met our goals by now but as we are a paycheck to paycheck family it has proved a daunting task. Neither of us are gifted with credit due to back due property taxes and a lien on our house (among other things) so we want to find a second hand private sale vehicle. Scouring Craig's list it seems between $3,000 - $4,000 would get us something to last a few years. I don't expect my friends to buy me a car and we will continue to save ourselves but the 1st is coming and my bum sticker will stick out like a sore thumb, so I am asking all of you, if you ever enjoyed a performance or band I was involved in, to remember those good times we shared and find it in your heart to find a spare $10, $20 maybe even $100 dollars you can spare. As a bonus for every $25 donated I will give you roughly 15 unreleased or no longer available tracks from me or one of the bands I was in. I know its not much, but a lot of people loved that music and maybe that will help you feel more generous. A lot has changed in our lives for the better and I prayed heavily asking God for help...maybe his help will be you old friends. Love you...new band coming soon.
