Aug. 21, 1962 – Dec. 25, 2014 Christopher(Chris) Allen Johns, a native of Grand Bay, Al and current resident Milledgeville, GA departed this life on December 25, 2014 at a local hospital in Milliedgeville, Ga. He leaves his father George E Johns, Lincolnton, Ga, Mother – Ann Stults of Grand Bay, Al., Brothers George T. Johns of Martinez, Ga and Steven D. Johns of Grand Bay, Al. His five children David (April) Johns – Sarland, Al., Sandy Johns- Dothan, Al., James A Johns – Mobile, Al., Christopher A. Johns Jr – Bayou La Batre. Al., Kimberly A Johns – Warrenton, Ga. And his six grandchildren Domenic, James, Zeke, Alexis, Jayden and Tyler. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
The family does not have the funds to bury Chris at this time. His death was very much unexpected. He died due to a massive heart attack on Christmas Day. Unfortunately, he did not have any type of life insurance or any other means to help his family with all the cost related to the burial. They really need all the help they can get in raising the funds to make his burial possible.
Those that knew Chris would say he was a funny, friendly but very stubborn (at times) person. He was always willing to give someone the shirt off his back. He loved to fish, being outdoors, Indians and their history, wolves and anything related to them. He enjoyed flowers especially yellow ones. He was a one of a kind guy and can never be replaced.
As ex-wife and mother of his 5 children I hope you can find it in your heart to help them in this time of need. Although I was not close to Chris over the past years, I have remained close to the rest of the family. They need your support and prayers.
