Many of you know we have been displaced due to a fire that broke out in our apartment complex in the wee hours on Christmas Eve. Fortunately we escaped with our lives and are safe and healthy. Unfortunately we spent this holiday season at Motel 6 while our home is assesed for damage. It currently is unsafe to move in. While the redcross has temporarly paid for a motel room and a few days worth of food, that time has run out. We now have no place to go. The damage is so severe we likely will loose almost everything. Many of you have gracioulsy reached out to us asking how you can help. We are currently seeking funds to help us with a deposit and first and last month rent so we can relocate, ASAP, as well as replace our belongings. I hate to ask, but I have no where to turn, my parents are deceased and I have no family in the area to stay with. I am desperately seeking emergency shelter for my children so that do not begin the New Year homeless. Any amount will help, donations as well, but our emergent need is to find a place to move, as we have no where to keep donations that have been offered. Thank you again
