Kodi's Surgery

Hi, we are the Mikus family and we have a puppy named Kodi. Unfortunately, Kodi swallowed a small foam ball that blocked his intestines and required emergency surgery.

Kodi is four and a half months old and is a happy, energetic, blue heeler/ collie mix. He has become part of the family quickly, and we love him so much.

After refusing to eat and drink, Kodi needed the emergency operation on September 28th. He is currently recovering but not out of the woods yet as he’s dealing with complications. Having not needed many vet services in the past, we were extremely surprised by the cost of the procedure to save his life. With the cost being so high, the college savings were tapped, and we are graciously requesting donations to fill that deficit. Any little bit helps! We greatly appreciate the consideration.
