Help for Josie's Kids

As many of you know, Josie is currently incarcerated. Her 24 month sentence began last September.  Josie has always maintained that she did not steal from her students, and that all money was spent on her school. However, we do not want to discuss the issue of her innocence or guilt here. We will leave it up to you to draw your own conclusions. 

Josie is a single mother of two children. Since her incarceration, a small group of her friends and her aunt have been taking care of her affairs and children.   As you can imagine, it is a lot to handle, and we need your help. 

We are asking for financial donations to help us provide for Josie's children and maintain their household until she is released and can begin working again. 

Gofundme's platform requires a fundraising goal, but to be honest, it is hard to say exactly how much is needed. How much do children cost?  How can we estimate their day to day needs and school related costs?  What about those unexpected costs that come up? How much do people spend on children's clothing every year?  How much do teenagers cost? Or little girls? If you were unable to work for up to 24 months, how much would it cost to keep from losing your family's home? 

Whether $5,000 is too much or too little, we don't know, but what we do know is that any help in any amount would be greatly appreciated.
