Emergency Help

Please help me keep my house. I am facing the loss of my home at the end of this month, so I need help immediately! One big reason that this is happening is that I have a tenant who has not been paying his rent, which in turn has left me unable to pay my mortgage. On top of that, I have been struggling through the lack of steady work. Since most of my conflict resolution and violence prevention work takes place in schools, I expect that the new academic year will bring more consistent opportunities. But, I also need to ensure my ability to remain in my home in the interim, and need help to do that as well.

During my lifetime, I have taken pride in being able to support people through various crises they have faced. I’ve given my heart, my time, my knowledge, and financial assistance to help people negotiate challenges in their daily lives. For 35 years, I directed a non-profit which taught young people skills that helped them handle potentially dangerous situations. Participation in the program, allowed those young people to share these skills with their peers, pursue higher education, and grow into professionals making significant contributions to the world.

Helping people is an integral part of who I am. However, I now need help getting through my own crisis. If you are able to donate, I’d really appreciate it. If not, sharing my story with others would also be a great way to help me reach my goal and keep my home.
