Love is Love -- Even in Prison
Tax deductible
Love is love -- even in prison. Sandy is incarcerated at Neuse Correctional Institution. She is serving time for killing an abusive partner. Now, she has found true love. She wants to marry her fiance, Amanda. They have been a couple since 2002.
Sandy and Amanda followed prison policy and made their request in November 2018. Prison Superintendent Morris Reid refuses to approve it -- because North Carolina prisons have never approved a same-sex marriage.
CJPC is raising funds for their legal case. The Supreme Court has granted Sandy and Amanda the constitutional right to marry. We are ready to enforce that right in court.
