My name is Jazzmyn Ivery-Robinson. I am excited to announce my candidacy for Rochester City Council - At Large.
I am a native of Rochester, New York, an educator, doctoral student, and career coach. I have experience as an advocate for equity in education, housing, community development and voter rights. I grew up in the city on Avenue E and off of Bay Street. I graduated in 2012 from RIT with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, 2018 with a Master's degree in Management from Nazareth College, and am currently pursuing my doctorate in Educational Leadership & Management at Drexel University. Our community is in need of change.
Some voices are being heard but not all. In order for us to thrive and live in an equitable community we must all work together as one. We must address the issues that are hindering our community from thriving.
I am asking that you sign my petition so that my name can be added to the ballot for the primary election.
