Jazlyn's Recovery

Hello Family, Friends, Supporters, and Followers,             Let me start by thanking you for taking time to read about allow yourself to be able to make room in your hearts for an amazingly strong little person named,  Jazlyn Shores.    Secondly, Let me introduce myself, I am Angela Villa-McClure.   Jazlyn is my brother's Granddaughter and BFF!  And who is this brother?  Well,  My brother is Aaron McClure and sister-in-law Valerie McClure followed by Niece Tiffany aka Mom.         Now,    letme see if I can explain what happened to our little Jazz...         †     It was Saturday evening on 16 December 2017, our six year old Jazlyn was visiting a home and was mauled by a dog.   As you can imagine for any parents or child this nightmare quickly was reality.  The dog was shot by owner and 911 was called and Jazlyn was rushed to the the hospital with major injuries.  Her left ear was amputated by the tramatizing bites. Jazlyn was scheduled to be flown from Cortez, Co to Grand Junction, Co.   Her mother, Tiffany, was notified and made it in time for the Flight for Life.            As the flight went on so did Jazzie's condition.  She then needed a different type of medical facility. At this point she was redirected to The Children's Hospital of Denver. Her grandparents, Valerie and Aaron McClure (my big brother), we're able to drive all night to meet them upon her going into surgery. Eight hours later.              We all were informed that little Ninjago Jazzy had pulled through! Thank God! They were able so save most of her ear and her eye was unremarkable.    They were not sure if her eye was still attached but, miraculously it had no damage.      She now will start her journey to recovery!        † She will require a multitude of advanced technology therapies. Her immediate one needed is the hyperbaric chamber at St. Luke's Hospital.   Jazzy has already faced physical challenges to include Bell's Palsy and was tackling them like no other.  † With the support of multiple hospitals, Churches, charities, foundations, family and friends I am hoping we can all come together and carry this family through this obstacle and hurdles.
