Joe Wells (Mr. Joe) is well known and loved by many. For some time now he has been receiving treatments for an esophageal stricture. He recently received a treatment that lead to a small tear in his esophagus. He developed severe back pain, which prompted him to seek medical treatment. He has been transferred from Northside Forsyth to Piedmont hospital. He has undergone 2 surgeries to repair the tear. He is currently in ICU. It is possible that he may need an additional surgery. He is a children's minister at Sugar Hill church and is well known and loved by many children. If you can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated.
