UPDATE 12/7/19: We have raised the limit on this fundraiser to $4000 to raise some additional funds for the burial and headstone. We as a family overlooked that portion of the total costs. We are so thankful for the outpouring of love we've received from friends, family and strangers alike. We will never be able to fully express our gratitude to everyone
Jayson Goodbred was the victim of an act of gun violence in Decatur, IL on December 5th, 2019. He unfortunately didn't survive, and his siblings are left to bury their baby brother just a few weeks before Christmas. As many can imagine, no one can plan for this sort of sudden death, and his four siblings are left scrambling to find the money to give him the send off he deserves. Any dollar amount helps, and any extra will be used at a later date to place a headstone or grave marker on his final resting place.

Jayson was in very critical condition, and utilized a truly startling amount of donated blood. We want to be sure that his memory is used to help others in the same ways the doctors at DMH worked so tirelessly to help him.
