Jaymi Nicole Johnson Wharton (Nickie), age 34, returned home to her Father in Heaven on Dec. 3rd, 2019 in San Clemente, CA.
Nickie was born on May 6, 1985 in Salt Lake City, UT to David and Debra Johnson. She was a twin and was second out of seven children. She and her six siblings were adopted by Sean and Rebecca Wharton in 2002.
Nickie graduated from South Summit High School and shortly after attended Sherman Kendall’s Academy where she received her cosmetology license. She loved all things beauty, doing hair and she had many jobs as a cosmetologist. She also often helped out by doing siblings’ and friends’ hair.
She adored her children and loved being a mom. She treasured time spent with her three beautiful daughters, Jaydin, Brightyn and Oakleigh. They were her everything. She loved being with family and friends, having fun and laughing. She always had a witty remark and easily laughed at her own jokes. She was very caring and always willing to help in any way she could.
She was battling addiction and courageously moved to California in 2018 where she attended addiction and recovery programs, met new people and enjoyed going to meetings to further aid in her recovery.
