My son and I were headed to dinner. We noticed a young man walking at the speed of lightning with headphones on. My son asked me to slow down so he could check on his friend. The young man was relentlessly in a rush walking to work saying " I can't be late". He said mam could you give me a ride plz. I told him I could take him as far as I was going. I began to create small talk along the way. It was revealed to me that his name was Jayden , 12th grader, works 40hrs a week, walks 5 miles to work everyday immediately after school, gets off at 1030p at night and walks back home another 5 miles if co workers don't offer a ride. Immediately my heart got full. I was literally holding back tears tore up. I said baby I’ll be taking you all the way to work forget my plans for now. I started declaring over his life and speaking in faith to his need. My son started to look out the window with that look like" Moma not now plz" It was too late I was in!!!!!! The entire ride .... I asked him about Uber and he Explained helping at home and saving for a car it was difficult to afford Uber there and back daily so he just walks without complaint. I asked for his cash app and told him I wanted his body to rest and I would be blessing him by sending him an Uber the rest of the week. He said mam " I just met you but I see why your son Jailen talks about you and shares what a blessing you are to him". This young man walking to work to earn an honest check with his music and a smile on his face. I'm believing GOD to provide a car for Jaiden before he graduates in MAY 2021. If you have any resources, know anyone with resources, connects, know of any assistance programs for young men, would like to sow or be a blessing to JAYDEN in any way plz inbox me. This young man's obedience, sacrifice and faithfulness shall be rewarded in Jesus Name!! This has literally wiped me out today!!!!! When I'm on my knees asking the Lord to bless me, It's because I wanna be a blessing!!!!! Everything else can wait .... GOD DO IT FOR JAYDEN ..... I'm reaching out to his school in the morning. This child needs to be recognized, blessed and provided with transportation...MY GOD!
