Jayden & J Auria Truck Fund
Monday morning my husband Justin and our 10 1/2 month son hydroplaned and rolled on HWY 1 going to Monterey, and landed on its roof. The air bags didn’t go off but thankfully Justin was ok enough to crawl from the front to the back, where Jayden was hanging in his car seat crying, and get him out safely. He unclipped him and crawled out through the back window. Thankfully Jayden was ok and highway patrol wasn’t too far away.
I took them both to the hospital and the doctor cleared Jayden and said hes ok, thank god, but would most likely be sore and Justin had scans done which had shown severe torn muscles in his back. Considering the airbags didn’t go off it's a miracle he walked away from the crash. They were both lucky not to have broken anything.
The past year or so Justin’s been battling his Crohns Disease so it’s been pretty hard financially on us. Justin used his Durango for work and to transport Jayden around safely. We would like to hopefully get a used truck for Justin to use for work and have a safe vehicle to drive Jayden around, when I am not home.
