Father of Twin Boys fighting the fight against Sarcoidois and heart failure.
Sarcoidosis - is inflammatory disease that affect the lungs, Heart, gland and other organ of the body. There is no cure but there is treatment.
Jay Suhl his wife Patricia and twin boys Patrick and Thomas are fighting the biggest fight ever.
Jay's father died at the age of 42 from complications of Sarcoidois. Unfortunately Jay was diagnosed with the same disease at age 30. He went yearly for his checkups to maintain his health. He married his high school sweetheart Patricia and were blessed to have twin boys 15 years ago. These boys idolize their dad. Jay was a volunteer firefighter and first aid for Brielle, NJ. His dad was also a firefighter for Manasquan back in the days. He also participated on 9/11 going to Jersey City with his fellow Brielle Firehouse team to assist them on that tragic day. Jay has always been a giving person. He once gave his coat, boots and glove to a coworker who didn't have any means of providing them for himself. Jay has instilled in his boys to honor their country and servicemen and woman. Every time he and his boy see a serviceman in uniform they go up to them and shake their hands and say Thank You for your service. Jay's sons follow this to a tee now without hesitation. Jay has a strong work ethic and worked full time and a part time job to support his family. On 11/28/2017 when Sarcoidosis reared its ugly head again he collapsed and ended up at Ocean Medical Center, NJ and they transferred him to Beth Israel Hospital in Newark NJ. The Doctors said the Sarcoidois is destroying his lungs and now his heart. He is currently at Beth Israel hospital in Newark where he had 2 major heart surgeries and is being evaluated for a transplant. Jay celebrated his 50th Birthday on Dec 29th and wants to be home with his wife and twin boys who idolize their dad soon. So lets give this man the best 50th GIFT OF LIFE with family and friends.
