<div> I’ve been having health issues that have been ongoing. <strong>I have Hashimoto's disease, which puts me at risk of thyroid cancer and other problems.</strong> I’ve had two lumps on my neck: one on the back of my neck that has been present for more than 6 years, and one under my chin/neck area that I recently discovered last year. The lump has gotten bigger recently and is causing me constant pain.

<div> My doctor said I could get a biopsy, but with my current insurance, it will still cost me $1,700-$2,000 out of pocket. On February 18th, I will be losing all insurance once I turn 26 since I’m currently on my family’s private insurance. <strong>I haven’t found any help through that hospital and am currently being ignored in my attempts to get on new insurance and find any programs to help pay for the biopsy.</strong>
