Jay Groves Memorial Fund for Hannah & JJ

Hello, my name is Rachel Ridolfi Mathis, the sister to Hannah Ridolfi Groves. This past Thursday my sister’s husband, Jay Groves, was found unconscious and it is with much sorrow to announce his passing on Monday May 5th.

Jay was such a fun loving guy and deeply cherished by his friends and family. Jay will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Hannah is also pregnant with their first baby JJ, and is due in June.

As Hannah navigates the sudden loss of Jay, your expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the Jay Groves Memorial Fund that will help Hannah with Jay’s medical and funeral expenses, along with a trust fund for baby JJ.

Update: Wednesday May 7th and Honor Walk was held for Jay as he had decided many years ago that he wanted to be an organ donor if given that chance. Thursday May 8th Jay’s heart, lungs, liver and kidneys have all been transplanted! His lungs went to one person and kidneys went to two people, so 5 people will live a much longer life because of Jay’s incredible gifts.
