Jay Champelli

Our dear Jay was an active and committed member of the Oak Park community. Let's keep his memory alive with a bench and tree memorial to honor his efforts on behalf of the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio, the Hemingway Foundation, Oak Park Regional Housing Center, Housing Forward, and Ascension-St. Edmund Catholic parish--to name just a few of his many activities! We don't know where the bench and tree will be located but will work with the Oak Park Park District to find a place that honors Jay's efforts to make Oak Park a more historic, inclusive, prayerful, joyful, and beautiful place to live. If we exceed our fundraising goal, the extra funds will be donated in Jay's memory to Housing Forward.
