Jay Bearden's Tornado Recovery

My name is Leesa Bequette.  My brother Jay lost the travel trailer he used as his permanent residence in the April 29 tornadoes that struck Fruitvale, Texas.   He is currently living in 2 rooms of the very rundown home you can see behind the trailer in this picture.  That house suffered storm damage as well and is not a safe place to live.  If I could have him stay with me until he gets things sorted out I would, but I live in Minnesota.

We are seeking financial assistance to help him purchase a 40' shipping container in which to store his salvaged belongings while he looks for a new place to live, as well as to replace some of the things he could not salvage.  He can't store things in the old house long-term because it cannot be adequately secured.  If there are still funds left after that, they will be applied to securing permanent housing.  He asked me to start this campaign rather than do it himself because he wants to reassure any potential donors through the extra layer of accountability.  When we've reached the goal, I will designate him the beneficiary of the campaign so he can withdraw the funds on an as needed basis.

We ask that you prayerfully consider whether or not you can offer financial assistance.  AND even if that is not possible, if you can pray for Jay to see clearly God's plan from this point that will be greatly appreciated.
