Please help Jax get leg surgery

Hi everyone. I hate having to make this post and look at the pictures of my poor baby like this. Unfortunately Jax was hit by a car a couple of days ago, and it broke his foot. We took him to the vet, and the first recommended amputation, which no one in my family wants that for him if his foot can be saved. We took him to a specialist afterwards, and they told us that surgery is an option in this case. They would have to straighten his bone and implant a metal rod to stabilize his foot so it can start to heal. We want to go this route, although its very expensive. They said when we drop him off for his surgery, we pay an upfront cost of $5000. When the surgery is done, we will pay the remaining balance of $1000 at the most. I was also told that after surgery, he would need to come in for weekly bandage changes for about a month, maybe 2 at the most, which will run $200 per visit. Then we need to get him more pain medication and anti-biotics to make sure an infection doesn't happen. We want to do everything we can to help him as soon as possible, but the cost is so tremendous that I don't know any other way to raise a considerable amount of money for him.
