Javian's Passive & Myo Prostheses

Javian was born, April 15, 2017, with what is called a left congenital limb deficiency. His family has decided to pursue prosthetics through Advanced Arm Dynamics in Minneapolis, MN.
Javian is to be fit with a passive prosthesis on December 12, 2017. He will begin therapy immediately. The passive prosthesis and its length will help him with his developmental needs, like proper musculoskeletal growth, balancing, crawling, and manipulating different objects. It will also help prevent an array of injuries related to depending on only one side of the body. Somewhere between 12 to 18 months it is planned for Javian to be fit for a myoelectric prosthesis, a more functional arm that will allow him to grasp objects.
The passive prosthesis is estimated to be $21,081.33. The cost for the myoelectric is unknown at this time, as we are not to that point yet, the company says they will run around $100,000. Both types of prosthesis require upkeep that will come with costs. We are currently working hard to save money and pursuing many routes to raise money and cut costs. We are also trying to negotiate with our health insurance. Any and all help and prayers for our happy smiling baby are greatly appreciated!
Javian is the son of Novi Runsabove and Cheyenne Brady. He is the grandson of Jon "Poncho" and Rebecca "Tooky " Brady, Bill and Danna Runsabove, Josephine Smith, and Gerrod Smith. A special bank account at Cornerstone Bank has been created in Javian's name. All donations will be housed in his account and used for his medical needs.
