Hi dearest friends,
I am starting a gofundme for my cousin Jason. Jason and I have grown up together enjoying theater, musicals, boys, and the Golden Girls. His sister Stacey has been doing her best to take care of him over the years since both of their parents died at a young age. Recently, this has become far more challenging.
Beyond the difficulties of the pandemic, many of the support systems for cerebral palsy which have been in place are stifled (State of Illinois caregiver funding/Over the Rainbow). In addition, his electric wheelchair is in need of repairs and due to Covid, he has been forced into unemployment.
The reality is that Jason needs our help to pay for a caregiver, medical assistance, and physical therapy. We are looking to raise $10,000 over the next 3 months to help cover these costs.
