I was hoping I could get help with a serious medical situation that I have. Back in 2008, I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer, and it was then treated with surgery and Chemo.
Just last week, I learned that the Colon Cancer has returned, and it is aggressive. In addition, it turned out, that I have a genetic condition called “Lynch Syndrome,” which makes me susceptible to Colon and other Cancers.
Because of this recurrence, I have to have surgery again. This time, my entire Colon has to be removed and biopsied. My surgery is on 1/9/18, at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC. Depending on the Pathology results, I may need Chemo.
I will be out of work between 4-6 weeks. I need help with funds to help pay rent while I recover from this major surgery, and to assist in paying my medical and hospital bills. Insurance isnt covering everything. Anything you can afford would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much for your help!
