Jason Murphy's Scholarship

During a time where nothing seems to make sense right now, it only seems fitting to pay tribute to Jason Murphy's legacy.   As two of his teachers, Rhonda Bell and Rod Sheffield, we want to do what he would have wanted us to do....help others.   While he consistently worked to perfect his craft, he was always generous in his efforts to help others. As an adult, he continuted sharing his talent and educating others to improve their gift.  His voice filled our rooms and stages and his talent cannot be described.  The world is a little less full of light right now because of this loss.  We can only hope that by raising these scholarship funds, his leagacy lives on.  These funds will be used to fund scholarships for Kingwood High School students who are seniors involved in either drama or speech for the 2017-2018 school year.  100% of this money will be awarded to deserving KHS seniors.  It only seemed fitting to show a picture of Jason from high school, the very high school where we hope seniors will benefit from your generosity.  When we withdraw these funds, the money will be directly put into a cashier's check which will be awarded to several high school seniors from Kingwood High School.  The seniors must have been involved in either speech or drama while at Kingwood High School.
