Jason Litke Help for his Family

Those of us who knew Jason know the world has lost a special person. Those who weren't lucky enough to have been his friend like me, I hope someday you have someone this special in your life. He was a GREAT friend, but he was much more than that. He was a devote father (His son was his life). He was also an exceptional son, brother, uncle, and so much more. This world was lucky to have Jay. Jason spent about 2 years in Afghanistan and those of us who know him, know he came back a very different person. He was too proud to tell most people but he was immediately diagnosed with PTSD. I'm now just beginning to understand this was a very serious case of PTSD and some of what he had to see and go through over there is hard to imagine. Unfortunately, he was too proud to get and/or the VA was not active enough to help him in time. We hear this story all the time, but you will never understand it until it hits close to your heart and takes someone you love.

I've started this GoFundMe account to help his immediate family with all the expenses which are coming very quickly. I don't think we would ever put together enough to cover the cost, but maybe we can make a small difference. I was shocked to find out our great government was putting up a shocking 300 bucks. This to me was an insult.

Obviously everything raised here will go toward Jason's expenses and will be given directly to his parents from this website. It will never touch anyone's hands first; it will get directly deposited into their bank account.
