Jason Geist LOVE fund

Jason Geist approached me earlier this year at LOVE Park. We talked for an hour and he recited poetry. (After his thinking I worked for the D.A's office, which we giggled about later). I met up with him a week later and he stole my heart.
Through a series of events, he found his way back. Briefly.
Jason had a relationship with words like I had never experienced. A true poet.
His sense of humor was unparalleled.
His love for his mother was a bond I had never seen. He once told me that if his mom doesn't approve of a woman he is dating, she is no longer an option.

On Friday, October 13, Jason passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest.

My life will never be the same without him in it. The man could not go to sleep without making sure everyone had a smile on their face, because of him.

Jason supported The Sunday LOVE Project and was always invested in helping others. To a fault. A beautiful fault.

At this time, I am asking for support for his mother as she plans her eldest's son's funeral. Jason was one of ours and will continue to be.

Please show your love and help his mother ease this financial burden. No parent wants to bury her child. Taking this small detail off her plate is the least we can do.

When I told Jason he was a pain in my ass, his response was always the same... "My mom always said find something you are good at and stick with it."
