My name is Jason. I’m a trans man living in the UK, and I am currently under diagnostic investigation for a relatively rare form of arthritis called ankylosing spondylitis. Due to the widespread chronic pain associated with this suspected illness I have taken an extensive period of time out of work, and I am currently hoping to ease my way back into it with the hope of recovering some financial stability in the long-term. Finding a job while struggling with chronic pain can be exhausting, but I’m making every effort and hope to find a solution sooner rather than later.

My goal with this go-fund-me is to pay the cost of the early stages my medical transition (initial consultation, follow up, blood tests if needed, prescription costs). I am hoping to raise enough to cover my initial appointments, as well as a couple months worth of prescription hrt while I adjust and get back on my feet.
