Jasmine's Road to Recovery

Hi Everyone- For those of you who don't know me, my name is Jody, and I'm raising money for my mother Jasmine's therapy costs- she suffered a severe stroke but thankfully made it through and is currently on the way to rehab . Sadly, her insurance will not cover the therapy needed in order for her to recover from her stroke- without therapy my mom will never be mobile again.

Jasmine is a baby nurse that LOVES children (they have now become her children!) and I will do all that I can so she can get back to them. We are SO thankful that she's home and on the road to becoming the vivacious Jazzy that we know her to be! Ive fought a very hard fight (insurance, visiting agencies, and communication with social workers) to get most of her medical bills during her 2 week hospital stay cleared, and will continue to do all that I can to make sure she recovers well. 

For those of you who do know me, my mother is my rock, my best friend, my EVERYTHING! All we have is each other. This entire situation is new to me, I'm always there for my mom but this showed me another level of what it truly means to take care of someone. From my over night hospital stays, to being her nurse during her entire time there-with the lack of having my mom being that she was in this state, it made my appreciation for her grow beyond measures. 

It saddens me that we live in a system that doesn't help those in need- thankfully support systems like these are created to help families like myself and others that too are in need of help. I thank you guys in advance for your love and support- xoxo.
