Jasmine & family

On November 25th, Saturday night my niece Jazzy was working at a fried chicken restaurant. When she was walking back to the bakery another co worker was cleaning out the fry vats and had buckets of grease on the ground, Jasmine slipped on the greasy floor and fell into one of those buckets. Her left foot was severely burned and has had 2 skin graft surgeries so far to try and repair the extensive damage. A call to 911 was denied by the manager on duty when this happened . Jasmines coworker had tried to help by pouring flour onto her foot, which unfortunately ended up trapping in the heat and burning her foot even more. Her other coworker then picked her up and had rushed her to the hospital. I personally feel that if someone had called 911 then a lot of the mistakes and time wasted could have been avoided and we could have saved more of Jasmine's skin. Jazzy had just turned 18 the week before, she is a hard working student, and a hard working employee, but her passion is in dancing and choreography and she works even harder at her dreams. She has dance at school, and has been and is a part of several other dance programs. Due to this tragedy Jasmine was not able to perform in her recent school dance that she choreographed. She is strong, brave, and incredibly smart, and has a wonderful attitude about it all. The hospital staff is very impressed at with how strong she is through all of this, even being in the amount of pain she’s in. I pray that she will be able to dance again once she heals. Although she has a lot of support by friends and family, the person by her side the most is her Mother Rosa, Rosa has spent almost every waking moment with her daughter, but she has not been able to work her full schedule since this all happened. Rosa and her husband are doing all they can to make up the difference and struggling to pay bills so if possible we are asking for your help. If your unable to help financially please help us by sharing this story. We would love this to be one less thing for her mother and father to worry about during the holiday season. Let's make this a Christmas miracle and turn this tragedy into a blessing. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for sharing our story.
