Jasmine Christine Sturm was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota on December 29, 1990. From day one her bright eyes, zest for life, and infectious smile captivated everyone around her. Jasmine absolutely loved fashion, all things Audrey Hepburn, and was very involved in Minneapolis/St. Paul community activism. Jasmine loved and doted on her 2 children and worked very hard to be an engaged and supportive mother. Jasmine leaves behind her 2 children ages 11 & 5, as well as her mother and brother who love and miss her deeply. Jasmine was taken away from us too soon. We seek justice for Jasmine and all the victims of this reprehensible crime.
Matthew Isaiah Pettus (“Matt”) was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 19, 1995. Nothing and no one could slow Matt down. Matthew was infinitely curious and always on the move. Matthew and Jasmine shared a strong bond and were inseparable as children. Like his father, the late MCA recording artist Giorge Pettus, Matthew was a creative and talented musician, teaching himself the piano and the saxophone. Matthew had recently become a new father and he doted on that child as much as he could. Matthew was taken away from us too soon. We seek justice for Jasmine and all the victims of this reprehensible crime.
