Jared’s Crew to crush cancer.

There’s not enough words out there to describe how great of a guy Jared is. I see him every single day smiling and playing with his 3 kids, Ava, Ashton, and Zach. As his wife Becky has said, “This guy right here is my world!! He is the world to so many others as well and the strongest person I know.” Jared battled a big fight with Non-Hodgkins lymphoma in 2006 and won. But now cancer wants a rematch and Jared’s going to have to kick its butt once more. And we will all stand there with you my friend!

Jared had some trouble swallowing in the past month and after several ER visits and testing, doctors found a mass completely obstructing his esophagus. The surgeon removed as much as he could but due to all the radiation he received in that area 13 years ago the tissue had become very thin and brittle so the surgeon was unable to go deeper or enlarge the opening without risk of excessive ripping and bleeding. Friday morning, the Morgans got the call no one ever wants- squamous cell cancer in the esophagus. The last couple of days have been a roller coaster of emotion and questions, anger and so much sadness for the Morgan family. But they are staying strong in their faith and their love for each other.

Jared will undoubtedly have a fight in his hands and during that battle we want the Morgans to be able to focus on the important things in life like family, love, laughter and creating moments.
