Jared vs. Cystic Fibrosis

This is Jared. Jared is the youngest of myself and three of my other siblings – and he has the awful horrible disease Cystic Fibrosis. Our brother is 33 and has grown up watching those who shared the same disease as himself pass away in high numbers. Now Jared is facing the same reality that those he once knew endured. Our brother has spent the last year in and out of hospitals with his condition worsening. It makes it even worse for us as he lives in Barrie, Ontario, while we are here in Calgary, Alberta. Unfortunately, Jared was rushed into the hospital for blood clots and issues with oxygen levels – we fear this is the beginning of an end for him. We have been told that he needs a lung transplant but due to circumstances does not qualify for one. Our mother has already left to see him but his siblings and father would also like the opportunity to go see Jared as we believe it will be our goodbye. If you can help in any way so that we may cover travel costs, costs of hospital parking, time away from work and other such necessities, we would be eternally grateful. As Jared's health declines the reality is is that this could be a longer stay for some family members and if the worst happens we will need help with funeral costs as well. This account will serve these purposes as well. So again, please share if you haven't already. Let's try to make this process as easy for the family as it can be under such circumstances.
